Kepong Park

On the same day after visiting KL Tower, I went to Kepong Park with my dear. This is the first time we been there, usually just drive pass the area. It is a nice place for people of all ages to go.

This park has a very big lake. Just climb up the observation building and you will have a great bird’s eye view of the whole park. I think we can see beautiful sunset from there too.

See the next picture, lots of people playing kites there. Kites of all shapes and designs can be found. Got doraemon kite also, hehe..

By the way, I also want to use this post to create awareness among my blog visitors on Global Warming! www.hanping84.com also got contribution to the earth you know.. Even my dear also wear green on the day.

Why not we do our part to help our earth? I will not elaborate further, just check out Bonuslink GreenEarth Program to find out more. My suggestion is try to go more to any park during the weekend and enjoy the mother nature. I find it very relaxing sitting there enjoying breeze wind and listening to laughter of happiness among family.

As a blogger, you may contribute by blogging on Go Green to help create awareness among your reader.

Go go go Green!!

The above trackback is actually trackback / pingback spam, I get it all the time, but I’m delighted to know that at least there are websites crawling over my blog :) heh.

Anyway when we drive to Genting Highlands we will always pass by Kepong Park, and we get to see a lot of kites flying in the sky. It’s definitely awesome, especially when you go there in the evening where the kites are silhouetted against the evening sky.

All the happiness to you and your significant other <3

Oic, I have deleted the previous comment because i don’t like spam in my blog.
Yea, when I log in to wordpress, i usually see lots of comment, which mostly are spam. BTW, wordpress is doing good in blocking those spam, is there any way to prevent them?

Maybe next time you should drop by at the park and enjoy the nature.

I’m a big nature lover! But the rest of my family isn’t - they would rather stay at home, enjoy the energy-consuming air-con rather than having a healthy walk in the park. And they’re definitely not environmentally-friendly as well - mom loves to dispose plastic bags (I insisted that they can be reused, but she gives me all that stupid theory of plastic bags are toxic and blablabla)… and they would rather drive to the nearest coffee shop for breakfast instead of walk =.= OMG.

Anyway pingback spam is very common in the blogging arena - people just set up fake blogs that are embedded with spiders (those that ‘crawl’ the web to search for related posts / entries), and when they land on your post, they’ll link it as a trackback. When you follow the trackback, you realised that the fake blog has only links and no content. Very annoying.

If you want to combat spam on self-hosted wordpress, the default Akismet is good enough (but you’ll need to register at Wordpress.com to get an API key. It’s free, so just try it out)… or if you are facing hardcore spammers, try out Spam Karma.

That’s the same with my family too, most of them are not environmentally-friendly and they don’t even aware of global warming. Maybe because in the advancement in science, only people will choose for the comfort and luxury, ignoring the nature. Sometimes, I tend to choose for comfort too.

I think I have installed Spam Karma too, maybe i should check whether i have Akismet or not. Thanks..
