Awana Kijal Trip 1

Last weekend I went to Awana Kijal with KY, CH, PY, ED, and CL. It was a relaxation trip for all of us. 6 of us made it a must to travel together at least once a year. Last year, we went for Triple Island Trip in Perhentian, Redang, and Lang Tengah island.

Awana Kijal is located not far away from Kemaman town. We drop by at Kemaman to eat the famous stuffed crab in Restoran Tong Juan. Expensive! RM17 per person.

Then, we checked in to our apartment, which is quite comfortable, with all the amenities available. Sad to say, the maintenance in Awana Kijal is quite bad. We squatted in front of the entrance.

We also played game of Ping Pong, quite fun because we realized that it is quite hard to multitask. We need to mention a name (place, brand, artist, etc..) while hitting the ball. RM5 per hour. Quite reasonable price. We also played carom there.

There is also Giant chess set, Giant ladder game.

Later in the evening, we swim and played water polo. The jacuzzi is quite dirty, water is yellowish, so we didnt get to soak in the jacuzzi.

Same here. I am NEVER good at mind games, for some reason. And since I’m so bad at them, I don’t like playing them as well! I’m not a very competitive person so I would usually stick to activities that require no competition :P like photography (that explains why I’ve never submitted entries for photography competitions). Oh, but when it comes to playing that huge chess with my friends, I will play for the fun of it :D heheh!

Anyway, RM17 per person for seafood is such a gorgeous bargain! I wish I could be there too!

Well, photography is quite fun, and it is a whole huge world for you to explore, including buying new lenses. Once I had a yamcha session with a few DSLR blogger, they discuss lots of jargon on photography. I was like an alien in the group. However, they are kind enough to explain to me those jargon.

The seafood price is quite reasonable. However, it does not suit our theme for the trip - relax and budget trip. If you happen to come over, I can bring you there.

Yea, quite nice playing Giant Chess. You may need more imagination because it is quite hard to see the whole chess board.

For the technical jargons of photography, I’ll be so dead too if I did join the discussion! I’ll have so many questions marks written all over my face, lol!
