dim sum ipoh ming court yoke fook moon
The morning before we reached Penang, we dropped by at Ipoh to try the famous Dim Sum. Thanks for the direction from Fei Hing (and sorry for calling you early in the morning). We decided to try Ming Court Dim Sum. The place is crowded as early as 7AM. Ipoh people are really healthy, the town is alive early in the morning.
See the picture below. Well, my first impression was ’so small!’. Their Dim Sum size is really small. Yet, after putting it into my mouth, the food is godlike. The ‘loh mai kai’ is good, and the crispy stuff is nice too. Only 1 picture for Ipoh Dim Sum, because we were too busy eating. By the way, the black sesame soup is nice.
There are actually 2 famous Dim Sum shop there. First is Ming Court Dim Sum, and the other shop is Yoke Fook Moon Dim Sum. They are both just opposite each other. Fei Hing told me that Ming Court Dim Sum is more famous, but he personally prefer Yoke Fook Moon Dim Sum. The next time I go to Ipoh, I’ll try Yoke Fook Moon Dim Sum.

Travel zoo
On 29th of June, I went with my dear to Zoo Negara. All this while we have been joking of going to Zoo Negara, and finally we’re there. To my surprise, the place is still well-maintained, thanks to various private companies and corporate body sponsor.
The next picture is an elephant. What is so special about this elephant? There is a group of ‘idiot’ that day, who feed this elephant plastic wrapper. Junk food’s PLASTIC WRAPPER!!
Next is picture of Kangaroo with Wallaby. So nice seeing the wallaby in the ‘pocket’ of the kangaroo. The image is quite blur because they keep on moving around. I want to go Australia to see more Kangaroo!!
I forgot how much is the entrance fee. This place is more suitable for family with kids. Lots of animal to see and free ride around the zoo. I get to see lots of animal that I have not seen before. I have seen people jogging around the zoo too.

awana kijal bicycle Holiday
Continue from my previous post on Awana Kijal Trip Part 1.
ater at night, we BBQ in the apartment. Yea, in the apartment’s balcony. HaHa.. It is quite fun, because of limited space and we had difficulty to start up the fire. We eat in aircond room. We BBQ weird stuff, thanks to my friends’ idea. The next day, I got diarrhoea. Among the weird food are BBQ marshmellow and apple with chocolate.
The ikan pari is not 100% cooked. We had overcooked chicken wing, meat ball, and sausages.
At night we played Playstation 2.
The next morning, after having delicious breakfast (bread with tuna, bacon), we went for cycling around Awana Kijal. For RM10 per person for 1 hour, we get to ride all kind of bicycles including Harley Davidson-alike-bicycle, double bicycle, and BMX.
Before we left, we took some pictures at the hotel’s lobby.
This is quite a fun trip, although quite tiring for all of us. We are looking forward to our next trip in this coming MATTA fair.
